News from Hamilton

Hey Folks,
So yeah my family and I have been MIA from a lot of stuff, no excuse really missed the anniversary party hope the rain didn't spoil too much fun, sounds like you made the best of it, shocking. Well to apprise you all of the current status of our household, we are a few monthes from adding our first addition, Robin is 6 monthes pregnant, with a baby girl!! PTL!(I like that TLA.) She is high risk,(prayer request- need to make it to Dec 3rd-my b-day big 30), so she has the distict privledge to work from home for the next few monthes, it has been almost one week and she is getting a little bored, every time I leave she asks me if I have to and then when are coming back? I love it, is that wrong.
I am working for Young Life exclusivly now, I am the area director for the south side of Holland, which includes Hamilton, Hopkins and soon Allegan. I am honored to be able to walk into these schools and lead teams who walk in next to me with the passion of loving teenagers with God's unending love. I am coaching football at Hamilton. And we love this community, Robin grew up here, but they have welcomed me with open arms, as open as they can get without knowing which house my great grandpa grew up in, anyway. It is funny how some folks give directions here, "well you turn at the old Berens farm, and go until you pass vander poppens farm house..." I never thought I would be here but I am loving small town ministry. By the way this is a great idea, my mom says something to me once in a while like it is old news and everybody knows about it and I am like what... who had a kid or how many do they have now?
