Hello Family,

This is Jennifer.

I'm living in La Jolla, California. I love the sunshine, the ocean, the breezes, the consistent weather, the diversity, multiculturalism, and where I live. San Diego county is made up of a lot of little towns that make up the city, so you never loose that small town feel in a big city. There are open air markets, musical and theatrical venues every night, culture galore, and the mountains and hikes and inland lakes are less than an hour away. I can cross country ski this winter and then drive back down to the coast and swim. It's beautiful.

I work at the La Jolla Music Society as their Publications Mananger. I am responsible for managing the production of print materials, advertising, and graphic design within the organization. I work closely with the marketing, development and production departments. I like the people I work with. Most of them are non-Christian and 90% of the men are homosexual. I think I hear the f... word about 6500 times a day, more conversation revolves around sex and partying than anything else--which has been very disconnective for me--but for this season, in a gentle way I have the grace for it. Hidden almost in the midst of some strange space. God knows where I am... I enjoy the dynamic and the dialogue that comes with different perspectives.

I have found a good church, a bible study, and a few potential girl friends.

There is one man I have come to love very deeply, but we are not seeing each other anymore. His name is Roree. We respectfully and lovingly went our separate ways recently because of worldview differences. He is a wonderful person...and I miss him in my life. If you think to pray for him, please do... It would bless both of us.

I have no pets. My car is still running. I have not gone hungry. I have a roof over my head. I have clothing that covers and warms me. Jesus loves me...and He keeps loving me. I grow more quiet and resolute in that truth as my days unfold.
