Amazing Grace

Just wanted to share with all of you the difference one person can make for people thousands of miles away. Grandma TerBeek has been knitting like crazy this winter. The afghans were sent down to the Dominican Republic with our friends, the Bodenner's, who handed them out at the 'nursing home' (don't be thinking Brookcrest . . . not even remotely close) where they have no heat and it can get pretty chilly. Thank you Grandma TerBeek for being such a great example of how one person can bless others in their own very special way.
~aunt renee (just wanted to clarify because you KNOW that Grandma would never blow her own horn . . . even if 7 little Dominican grandma's were warmer today because of her!)

Gram, I am so impressed with your knitting skills! (and to think i thought scarves were tedious at times) Your afgans look beautiful and I'm sure those ladies will cherish them. Gram you are looking tan and skinny. It's good to "see" you. Hopefully I will be able to come home before school gets out. Love you both.

What wonderful pictures! Thanks Rene'e for posting them!
I know, everyone, it's my first time posting. I am alive, kinda wondered for a while there though - it's a long story; but God is in control, as is Aaron's testimony! I will diligently try to be more involved here.
Love you all,
Aunt Rachel

Mom,it is awesome to see the pictures after being there last year we know that the people really appreciate them. Renee and I both noticed that one of the dear ladies looks like she could be Gramma Lyon's darker sister.Did anyone else see that ? Love you Mom ! David

Thank you Renee',
It was really fun to see and such an example to all of us as we get "older" that if you really want to, there is always someone you can bless . Thanks Mom for your heart to bless, give and serve. I love you( and yes I do think that one of the Grammies looks a lot like Gramma Lyon)
