Hello Everyone! Here's some recent pictures that are long overdue! Sorry about that! I'll start with the oldest news and then work my way to the present. The one with Isabelle & Makayla was taken during Pike & Pals weekend. For those of you who don't know, the men decided they needed an annual fishing weekend so us girls decided we'd all get together with the kids that weekend too! The lake they decided to camp on happened to be about a half hour from here so Lindy and Megan came to my house. It was a blast....not such great weather for the boys but they toughed it out until Saturday afternoon when I recieved a phone call from my hubby saying they were on their way to our house and would arrive in about 20 minutes! =) FABULOUS!!! So we had a few more "pals" than anticipated but it was fun anyhow. (Don't feel too bad for the boys, they re-scheduled their weekend for the end of June) I love having company so I was in heaven!
Makayla recently had her 4th birthday and just to make it extra special we invited Elli to come up for a few days. MY GOODNESS were those girls excited to get together! We had a blast and managed to check off everything on Makayla's list of 'things to do when Elli came'! It's so fun to have cousins close in age like that to grow up with! Most of the pictures are of Makayla's birthday festivities!
Cam continues to get bigger even though his mommy has told him he's not allowed! =) He's actually been mastering the art of crawling and standing up on things over the this past week. Amazing how much they learn in the first year of life! I KNOW (not think) that I'll be a busy mama once he's actually up and moving. I'm still trying to get used to having him this mobile....the 'baby proofing' is in full swing around here! =) He's a hoot though and him & Makayla are already great buds!
I'm sure there's more to report on but Cam's in my lap and getting restless so I need to cut it short. Probably a good thing because otherwise I'd write a novel. Enjoy the summer months...I know we will. Love you!

This morning at the Y, a mom came in and told her daughter that looked so much like Makayla to hurry and get her clothes off, she had her suit underneath, the daughter insisted on wearing her swim goggles and was so darn cute. The mom must have brought her out to a class, came back in with the other one she was carrying and took him to nursery and then came back through with a cup of coffee to go watch the swim class. . .all within a matter of about 4 minutes. . .sheesh, I was exhausted just observing!

It was good to see you too for the quick 'second' I was there. I feel like I was runnin on fumes I apologize if I wasn't very social! It had been a busy couple of days! =)
Your welcome Robin, thanks again for letting us use it! It's so nice to borrow that kinda stuff then spend the money to buy it since it's used for such a short time. Glad to hear your all doing well...post some more pics of your angel when ya get a chance! =)
Aunt Renee - you crack me up! I bet you think back now and wonder how you did it all with your 4 kids 'eh? It must just be the 'mom' in us...you don't think too much about it, just do what needs to get done and hopefully your not too full of drool, snot, spit up, spilled juice, food, etc & still smiling by the end of the day! I'm so glad to have the opportunity for this adventure! I wouldn't have it any other way! LY!
Boy oh boy what a good Auntie & Mommy you are. Elli had the time of her life with Makayla. She has staked her claim as being the one who is "the same age as Makayla". What a blessing you are. Plus the wonderful card you sent! I tell you what Kim, you are an inspiration to me! Thanks!
