Hello Everyone - Kim here! Grandma called and asked if I'd put the info on our blog regarding Aunt Rachels surgery. She had double knee replacement yesterday at a hospital in Detroit. Grandpa talked to Uncle Doug this morning and he said she's doing okay but they're hoping to get her up and walking today. Can you say OUCH?!? I guess the doctors don't like you sitting around too much after a surgery like that or your muscles tend to "slack off" a bit! They're all set for meals (aren't we grateful for friends and family?!) and she's expected to be home by Thursday already. That's it for now - lots of love!

I Gramps just talked to Doug, and Rachael yes really Rachael at the hospital she said they have taken her completely off Morphine no taper off. they need to find out what will work orally so she can handel it at home But she said she had walked 100 Feet (Yeah)!!! thats GOOD O.G.I.G.
